Amesbury hand over cheque to CRY

In the whole school assembly on Monday 23rd November Mr Taylor was delighted to announce that a representative from CRY, Vanessa Tardif, was here to receive a cheque for the amount of £10091.50.  This money was raised by some of the parents and teachers of Amesbury, including Mr Taylor, running the London Marathon in 2009 dressed as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves!  Sales of Christmas cards and various school functions helped to make this impressive donation.

Tatiana Riley (herself a runner), Ollie and Freddie Valmas (whose mother ran in the marathon) were able to present the large cheque to Ms Tardif.  This money will go towards funding the invaluable research that is being done to help cardiac risk in the young at the Brompton Hospital.
