Amesbury makes chatter matter for children's charity

CHILDREN from Amesbury School have been "making chatter matter" to raise money for charity.

Nursery and reception classes from the school performed sea-themed nursey songs and rhymes as part of the Chatterbox Challenge.

This is an idea set up by the I CAN charity to encourage children around the UK to raise money for youngsters who struggle to communicate.

Elsa Colgan, the early years co-ordinator at Amesbury School said: "The children bravely stood up and performed their variety of rhymes and songs in front of the pre-prep children."

The pupils raised £50 for the I CAN charity.
