BT TOWER PERFORMANCE
Having seen the video Amesbury produced for CRY, BT invited Amesbury to perform on 9th January at the 200 day countdown to the Olympics at the BT Tower. 15 dancers and musicians from the school set about creating a performance which would accompany their video. On the day itself, the children had a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. They were all given the opportunity to visit the 33rd floor to take in the breathtaking views; they had their own Q&A session with BT CEO Ian Livingston where they learned a huge amount about the company and its unique involvement with the Olympics. Each of the children got the chance to meet Olympians Daley Thompson and Leon Taylor who spent time answering questions and giving autographs; the Sports Relief representative, Lorraine Kelly also spent a good few minutes of her time chatting to them all.
