Chapter One Writing Competition
Congratulations to Daisy Hanbury, Luke Browning and Carys Lewis who have all been awarded runners up positions in a national children’s short story writing competition.
Last October, year 6 took part in a national short story writing competition organized by Chapter One Promotions. The children chose their writing subject from a selected theme/title list of 6 topics, and created a piece of writing in no more than 750 words. All entries were judged by the Editor in Chief and co-founder of Barefoot Books, Tessa Strickland.
We were delighted when news came through that Daisy, Luke and Carys had secured runners up places and they will now have their work published in an anthology of stories entitled ‘The Children’s Story Book’.
