Grayshott School Book Buddies Exchange
On Friday 5th February Amesbury children in years 3-6 carried out their annual Book Buddies initiative. This is a shared reading exchange in partnership with Grayshott Primary School.
Each child chose their favourite book that they had read so far this academic year and wrote a mini review for their selected buddy partner at Grayshott. This year the children designed and created keepsake bookmarks on which to write and illustrate their reviews, detailing information on why they thought the book would appeal to their ‘buddy’. They are now waiting in anticipation for the delivery of bookmarks from Grayshott School which will highlight their next reading adventure.
This shared reading exchange encourages wider reading amongst pupils from both schools.
