Harvest Festival

On a spectacular sunny autumnal day all the Amesbury pupils filed into the Sports Hall to celebrate Harvest with their gifts of locally/home grown or made produce to offer as thanks for the bounty we are so lucky to grow in this country.  The Address was given by Ken Cope and the prayers were offered by pupils in the school.

Tatania Riley and Ned Henderson sang beautifully as they led the Junior and Senior Choirs in 'Lord of the Harvest'. Everyone looked very smart in their suits as they sang "We plough the Fields" and "Come, ye thankful people".  All the proceeds from everyone's generous donations are going to Donec and Pilgrims Residential Home.
