Tuesday 9^th March heralded the visit of children’s author Natasha Narayan, who delighted and entertained years 3 & 4 with heroic and action packed tales from her book ‘The Mummy Snatcher of Memphis’.

The book is the first in a series of four, set in the Age of Empire and follows the escapades and adventures of Kit Salter, adventurer extraordinaire, from London to Egypt where she is trying to trace a stolen mummy from the Natural History Museum. But mystery surrounds the mummy and Kit underestimates the power of Ancient Egypt...

Natasha’s time with the children was totally interactive, complete with sound effects, writing and drama. The children were able to ask questions about the other titles in the series, comment upon how they would have written Kit’s adventures, and ask about the writing & publishing process. Natasha also carried out a very lively book signing session towards the end of her visit.
