Perfect Season for Amesbury
Amesbury School's 1st XV rugby team has just completed its second perfect season in four years. The Hindhead schoolboys celebrated the unbeated season having won all their matches, and averaged six tries a fame.
Martin Bartlett, director of sport at Amesbury, said "This has been an outstanding season. The boys can be very proud of all they have achieved. Their most notable results have been a 27-5 win at City of London Freeman's and a 41-0 victory over a fine Cranleigh team. The seaon closed with a 32-10 away win at Highfield, where the boys played 25 minutes of near perfect schoolboy rugby in the first half. Throughout the season there has been a great team spirit and the boys have played some scintillating rugby"
