Poetry Slam Final: Amesbury V Grayshott
On Friday 11th June the long awaited Poetry Slam Grand Final took place between Amesbury and Grayshott. Heats had taken place at both schools during the Trinity term and finalists from many budding performance poets had been selected. With banners and flags of red and yellow greeting the teams, poets from Year 3-6 battled it out against each other to what was a morning filled with poetry of stunning quality and of original and unique performance. Grayshott emerged victorious and all celebrated with a BBQ lunch and ice-cream to round off the event! A fantastic morning of performance poetry was had by all!
