Speaker makes Amesbury School prizegiving a historic occasion
Professor Richard Holmes, CBE - one of the most successful historians and television presenters in the UK - was the guest of honour at Amesbury School's prizegiving.
The award winning writer and presenter of numerous television series including Battlefields and Wellington: the iron duke spoke at the Hindhead school's ceremony, to more than 1,000 parents, staff and pupils.
Director of Studies, Julian Kirwan-Taylor said: "It was an honour to have such an interesting speaker."
