On the 8^th December two very excited Year 3 classes clambered on to the coach for their visit to the pantomime 'Cinderella' at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford. Their excitement was repaid in full. Mrs Rathmell had managed to secure front row seats to a very fine theatrical experience. I really cannot say who enjoyed it more, the children or the five members of staff, who were all rather taken with the dashing Prince Charming!!!! It was a total delight to see each and every child really throw themselves into the performance, singing the songs, clapping and booing. The noise level was huge ( we were not the only school party!!! ) but totally appropriate.

I can safely say that all of us who accompanied the children were so proud of them. They went, they saw, they enjoyed and they behaved. A wonderful trip was ended with their first formal Christmas dinner in the Prep School. The candlelit dining room was a perfect end to a day when staff and children thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company and marked a fabulous end to their first term in the Prep School.
