Years 1 & 2 Choral Evensong
Years 1 & 2 Choral Evensong
The first ever Choral Evensong for Years 1 and 2 was held this week. The children were joined by parents and grandparents for a service which included readings by Jessica Brocklebank and Helena Tourville and prayers which were read by Viggo Jensen, Caitlin Edmonstone and Edward Smith. The anthem was beautifully sung by the children in Year 2. The address was given by Ken Cope who involved the children in drama and learning a new song which he had written. The service provided a lovely opportunity for this part of the school community to gather together in the chapel to worship God.
