A short week of examinations was rounded off with the annual thrill seeking trip to Thorpe Park. Y8 were greeted with a short downpour and then clear skies (and short queues) for what turned into a fabulous day.
I could describe the various comings and goings but decided Year 8 would sum up things far more eloquently
I wish I had gone on Stealth (but Swarm was amazing)
Samurai was good because it was ‘chaotic’
I enjoyed Thorpe Park, it was all good
Butterflies in my tummy the whole time
One of the most exciting experiences of my life
Burger King food never disappoints (even though I couldn’t open the ketchup!)(and had to ask for help!!)
Stealth was my favourite as I sat at the front
My head was being pushed into my body, Stealth was great
I got drenched on Tidal Wave
Watching Gus’s face on Mr Monkeys Banana Ride was my highlight
Annoying…I thought I Saw Stormzy…but it wasnt him!
Cosmo shamed me on Stealth!
Five minutes queuing for Stealth front row…why wouldnt you?
Liked watching Mr.Gibbs head go pink on Samurai!
Favourite ride was Zodiac…even though Cosmo kept shouting at the top of his voice
Swarm was exhilarating
Loved Saw, Madame Nicol kept shouting French things!
Loved it even though I thought I might die on Stealth
It was all pretty great, especially Saw
It was brilliant, even though Mr.Gibb made me go on scary rides
My fave ride was Colossus because of all the corkscrews
Loved it all…couldn’t understand where to hold on though!! (Mr.Gibb said I had to have my hands up!)
Liked the rides, and pulling the straps on Izzys bag
Mr.Gibb said I might die on Colossus, glad I didnt!
Saw was great, Honor and I screamed loads…Fabian looked bored!
