Discounts for Prep School
Sibling Discount
For new families to the school where two or more children from a single family attend Amesbury at the same time, a sibling discount scheme offers a 5% reduction in the day fee for the second child and a 10% reduction in the day fee for the third and any further child.
Old Amesburian Discount
Where a child has a parent who themselves attended Amesbury for a minimum of four years, a discount of 10% for new families of the fee is applied.
Armed Forces Discount
Where a child has a parent who is a current serving member of the armed forces, a discount of 10% of the day fee is applied.
SEN Lessons
SEN individual lessons will be charged as an additional cost at the rate of £34 per 55 minute lesson (£40.80 per hour including VAT), and invoiced in arrears. Group lessons are charged at £15 per hour, (£18 per hour including VAT).
Direct Debit information
Fees can be paid termly by four equal monthly installments taken on the last working day of each month. These direct debit payments will also include equal monthly installments for extras incurred on the termly bill:-
Michaelmas Term – August, September, October, November
Lent Term – December, January, February, March
Trinity Term – April, May, June, July

Details of our fees
Admissions
The school fees at Amesbury are inclusive of a broad and enriching educational curriculum, lunches and snacks and best-in-class pastoral care and wellbeing support. There are some free clubs and activities also included. The extensive provision of nearly 100 extra co-curricular activities, incredible and inspiring school trips and any learning support all incur additional fees that are added to the termly bill.

- We have worked hard to manage fee increases for 2026 – 2027.
- The termly fee includes personal accident cover for pupils.
- Fees are due on or before the first day of each term.
- A non-refundable fee of £120 including VAT is required upon registration for all places.
- An acceptance deposit of £500 is payable once an offer of a place has been made to guarantee your child’s place. This is refundable when your child leaves the school less any outstanding charges. VAT does not apply to this fee.

Baby Amesbury & Little Amesbury

Babies

- A day in Baby Amesbury runs from 8.00am to 6.00pm
- All food, nappies and specialist activities are included within the fee
- Baby Amesbury operates for approximately 48 weeks of the year with funding only applied to Amesbury term times. Private hours during term time and sessions that fall outside Amesbury term times are charged at full fee

Timetable of specialist activities for Little Amesbury:
According to DfE rules, the charges for specialist activities and food during the funded hours period of the day are voluntary. Please speak to the Bursar if you would like to discuss this in more detail.
For any families accessing funded hours only, the registration fee and acceptance fee will be waived. Please speak to the Bursar if you would like to discuss this in more detail.
Should you wish for your child to attend the setting for funded hours only (10.00am to 4.00pm daily for 30 hours funding or 10.00am to 4.00pm for 2 days and 1.00pm to 4.00pm on a third day for 15 hours of funding), then please contact the Bursar to discuss in more detail.
Boarding Fees
Please note all fees are exclusive of VAT and any relevant taxes.
Boarding is charged at £55 per night excluding VAT, (£66 including VAT).

Amesbury School are pleased to partner with Endsleigh Insurance to provide cover for our pupils through a new, easy to use, insurance portal:
Insurance for every pupil:
Pupil Accident – financial protection against accidents and injuries, with fractures/broken bone and dental cover enhancement.
Optional insurance cover:
School Fee Refund – provides financial protection for fee payers in the event of pupil absence as they will be able to claim for a refund of unused term fees.
Personal Possessions – protects against loss, theft and/or damage of pupils’ personal items.
Endsleigh’s insurance portal makes it easier for parents to manage their child’s insurance cover and access related documents from one central and digitally secure place. Parents can opt in for additional pupil cover as well as submit claims directly through the portal, in a safe and convenient way.
