Special Terms For Families

Where two or more children from a single family attend Amesbury at the same time, a sibling discount scheme offers a 7.5 % reduction in core net fees for the second child and a 12.5 % reduction in core net fees for the third and any further child. In addition to the sibling discount there is an Old Amesburian discount scheme offering 12.5 % discount for children whose parents attended Amesbury for a minimum of four years.

Standing Order Discount

Fees may be paid by monthly standing order commencing July prior to the academic year in which they relate. Payment by this method will attract a discount of 0.5%.

Scholarships & Exhibitions

Amesbury offers a range of Scholarships and Exhibitions to prospective pupils who can demonstrate an exceptional talent, by which we mean that they stand head and shoulders above other very talented children in one or more of the following areas – Academic, Music (Instrumental), Music (Choral), Sports and Art. The value of awards varies depending on the standard achieved. However the maximum award made is never greater than 25% of the overall fee. Scholarship assessments take place throughout the year except for the Rose Scholarship which takes place in February. Any scholarships or exhibitions awarded would become effective from the following September. For more detailed information please visit the Scholarship and Bursaries Page.

The Amesbury centenary Foundation

The Amesbury Centenary Foundation was established in 2017 to celebrate the school’s 100th year in the Haslemere-Hindhead Area, the school having been founded in 1870 in Redhill. The centenary fund looks to extend educational opportunities to pupils in the local area who are not pupils at Amesbury and to providing means-tested Bursaries to pupils attending Amesbury who could not otherwise afford to attend the School. It is a restricted fund in the Trust’s accounts. Applications should be made to the Finance Office

A forward thinking yet, in many ways, traditional prep.
