Dates for the Diary:

Next ATA Tennis and Fitness Camps dates are Monday 30 March and Friday 3 April. Forms are available from here and the School Office – invite your friends and family! All tennis guaranteed if wet.

Player News:

Congratulations the doubles tournament is finished and well done to all finalists going to Roehampton National Tennis Centre.

The singles is now up and Year 5 have completed 3 matches already!

Congratulations to Year 3 boys who had 100% entry!

Congratulations to Hayden who has played some tournaments further afield this half term. He was runner up in the U12 Grade 4 tournament in Luton, Bedfordshire. He didn’t drop a single game in the rounds before the final. He then competed in a Grade 3 regional level U12 tournament in Harlow, Essex. He got through to the quarterfinals and came 5th overall out of 16 regional level players winning this place with an amazing come back from being 6-3 5-1 down to win 3-6 7-5 10-3 against a national player who was Suffolk’s number 7 ! He won 3 out of 4 matches in the tournament overall.

Tip of the Week:

Singles – if you don’t lose your serve, you cannot lose a tennis match – practice,
practice, practice!
