The 2nd girls team have kicked off with a great start to the rounders season. After choosing to start off the game with batting the girls set the bar high with some fantastic hits from each of the girls, followed by some risk taking which most definitely paid off in the end.
They then moved on to fielding. The girls were focused and determined to get the most out of their fielding. There were some accurate passes and good communication from Sophie and Maddy. Isobel showed some calm bowling and knew just about where and when to throw the ball. Immy and Lottie exercised quick thinking throughout the game while Dora and Annabel worked well together at second post and backing each other up. Izzy had some excellent catches and strong passes which played a big role in getting the other team out.
Well done to the 2nd team girls, they certainly deserved the win!
