U11A Wellington Tournament
The boys went in to this year’s tournament with lots of confidence after a solid platform set at last year’s one. We knew that if we performed the way we could then we would be very hard to beat. This is exactly what happened, with the boys remaining unbeaten throughout the day. On another day, with a bit more clinical thinking and finishing we could have turned our draws in to wins, and probably should have. Great tournament and an excellent opportunity for the boys to get lots of games played. We beat Cranmore and Feltonfleet, and then drew to Barrow Hills, Bedales and Horris Hill.

U10A Wellington Tournament
Their first taste of tournament hockey was an overall positive one, with the team growing in confidence throughout the day, and putting together some very good performances. We started strongly with a comfortable win in our first game, before a slight dip with a loss in a game that we didn’t quite gel together. 2 more wins in the latter stages, sandwiched either side of a loss against a strong St Georges side, were capped with an excellent team performance in the final game to beat Beacon School. Wins against Bedales, Feltonfleet and Beacon; and losses to St George’s and Eagle House.
Great day out and now they have set the standard to which they must consistently perform as a team.
