Lost Hoe Bridge 168-3 Amesbury 103-4
It was yet another bitterly cold day however that did not deter the Amesbury U10Bs from taking to the field eager for victory. Amesbury were put into bat by Hoe Bridge and got off to a confident start. A slight wobble in the middle order was steadied by the tail to take the score after 20 overs to 103-4.
Hoe Bridge began their innings confidently and soon began to pick up the run rate. They had reached the Amesbury total by the 13th over however not without some great efforts in the field from the Amesbury fielders. Hoe Bridge batted out their 20 overs, finishing on 168-3.
Although disappointed to have lost, there were some great displays of batting, bowling and fielding from all the Amesbury team.
