U10B v Edgeborough U10B and U10C

Lost  6 – 5 ½ to the B Team

Won 1 ½ – 9 to the C Team

Lady of the Match – Alice Roberts

It was another cold Wednesday afternoon  for Rounders matches. The U10B team was captained by Millie and she won the toss at the start of the match and chose to field. This gave the team the advantage to see how many rounders they would need to beat. It was a very close game, Edgborough B team scored 6 rounders and that was their target, there were some good moments fielding, Emily A,  Alice R and Millie worked well in keeping control of the fielding.

When it came to our batting there were excellent rounders scored from Ruby, Millie.

In the second innings the team played against the Edgborough C team, the fielding was tighter and there was great support at 2nd post from Mia and Isabella.  Clara read the game well and moved in and out of 3rd post with confidence, Edgborough scored 1 ½ rounders.

In the batting innings, the Amesbury U10B team scored a huge amount of half rounders, especially Lucy A who scored a half rounder every turn!

A great match, good team work, well played girls.
