U8B Cricket v Churchers College: 4 May

A strong showing from Amesbury saw victory by a 40 run margin.  After a strong batting performance posting 304, highlighted by scores of 18 from opening batsmen Toby and John, and 16 from Alfie, the boys kept their bowling and fielding tight to restrict Churchers to 264, with Samuel and Nic in particular proving very economical with the ball, and all players showing committed fielding efforts, the highlight being a diving stop at midwicket from Toby.

Special thanks to Rory from Churchers for swapping teams for the match to fill in for Amesbury, who proved more than capable with bat and ball.
