It was another beautiful afternoon for the girl’s to play their match of rounders, this week against GHS. After a delayed start the girls got right into the swing of things, playing fantastically, especially considering they were up against an U9 team. Fantastic bowling from Lily and teamwork from all the girl’s while fielding made it difficult for the opposition to score highly against Amesbury. As well as this, Amesbury did an awesome job while batting, finishing the first innings ahead and only falling slightly behind in the second innings. Tamzi showed off her amazing skills while batting, helping keep Amesbury neck and neck with GHS, and as a result was awarded batter of the match!! A great game girls and fantastic effort all round, well done!
