U9 Girl’s Hockey Festival at PGS – 8 March 2018
The U9 A Girl’s hockey team took part in a Festival tournament at PGS on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The Amesbury team of Florence, Emily C, Ysabel G, Chloe, Milly, Maisy and Isobel K played five matches against five other schools and remained unbeaten in all 5 matches. Throughout all five matches the girls held their positions and were able to pass the ball around the pitch from midfield to the forwards with a minimum of 3 goals being scored in each match. The defenders, Maisy and Isobel K were very efficient and did not allow any goal to be scored against Amesbury all afternoon. The midfield and attacking players of Florence, Ysabel, Chloe, Milly and Emily between them scored 18 goals throughout the tournament. It was a good afternoon enjoyed by all.
