Lights, Camera, Action! The New Amesbury Film Launch

After years of discussion and creative planning, Amesbury’s new film ‘With Imagination’ has been launched.  The brainchild of Head of Performing Arts, Mark Reynolds, the film follows the journey of a child from Early Years through to bringing their own child to school at Amesbury. “This film has been made to not only illustrate two Amesburians’ journey through the school but also to show how experiences in the classroom can transform learning through creativity and engagement. It was filmed on location at Amesbury and highlights our facilities and grounds as well as pupils from Year 1 through to Year 8. The recording features a star studded array of musicians including Madness’s Trumpeter, George Ezra’s trombonist and Old Amesburian, Chris Clayden. All vocal parts were sung by Year 7 & 8 Chapel Choristers and recorded in our Chapel.”

We feel this is an accurate representation of Amesbury’s spirit, ethos and identity and a perfect way of celebrating our pupils and staff. We would be grateful if you could share with your friends and family so as many people as possible can see what a happy, vibrant and inspiring place Amesbury is.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and we hope you enjoy watching this final version:  https://youtube.com/watch?v=gHuc4AGpAds&feature=share  Please feel free to share on social media with friends and family.
